URGENT ACTION NEEDED – BEFORE 31st JANUARY
Bassetlaw Council are currently in public consultation regarding a development of up to 700 new houses on the fields to the side of Gateford Hill Nursing Home. For more information, see page 25 (area 35) of Bassetlaw’s plan - Click here to open the plan
It is believed the current plan is for the entrance to be via Churchill Way, significantly increasing traffic exiting & entering the estate, increased danger to pedestrians. Strain on schools & services, worse traffic at local shops, increased pollution. Further destruction of farmed agricultural land, detrimental effects on Owday woods, Whipman woods, potential loss of old trees and the loss of a beautiful countryside walk.
