The first Gateford Residents Association website was originally launched in On the 29th June 2007.
In April 2010 moved onto the current format, which makes it easier and simpler to navigate. It also provides an easier way for authors to maintain the site and keep it current and fresh.
“The important thing to remember about our site’s name is the hyphen – between the word’s Gateford and residents”, said David Larder, the Association’s Communications Officer and Hon.Treasurer. He added “We are also an organisation in the UK, so we have org.uk at the end.”
The site has been designed by Craig Stevens of CM Photography Ltd, a family photography business located on the “Birds” side of the estates off Kingfisher Walk. CM Photography has undertaken the voluntary work of constructing and maintaining the Gateford Residents Association Website as a way of giving back to the community.
“We are extremely grateful to them”, said GRA Chairman, Larry Read. “Craig has done all this in his spare time”.
